TITLE: OFFENSIVE PHASE AGAINST LOW BLOCK
MATERIAL: GUNS, CHINESE, 4 SMALL GOALS, BALLS
SPACE: 60x55
DURATION: 2 SERIES OF 7 MINS. THEN ROLE CHANGE
DESCRIPTION: One team pretends to be retreating in a low block with a 1-4-4-2 system and another attacks with a 1-4-3-3 structure. The retreating blues defend their assigned areas until the ball passes their last line. Then they can defend any area of the field. The reds have the same zones except for 2 outer ones that always have to be occupied by at least one player to keep the team wide. After the blues steal, score a goal in one of the small goals. It always restarts red.
GOALS:
REDS (1-4-3-3)
- appear to notice or hide to be a receiver
- identify as a mediate recipient
- clear lines to receive in the outer hallway and look for 1vs1
- weak side compensates for possible loss
BLUE (1-4-4-2)
- first stalker defines strong side
- Defensive orientations
- Lines together to prevent them from playing behind their backs
- interline communication
